Sorry for not posting in a while. My buddies, Luke and Michael, are in HI all the way from natti-KY. Soon you'll see them in a blog post or two since we crammed gargantuan amounts of sight-seeing into a short time period, but they got it all with a
locals-twist.
The following are some shots of Shark's Cove at Sunset a couple weeks ago (before they were here). It was really cloudy so no sun, but it made for some good time-delayed shots. Shark's cove acts as a tide pool when the ocean is calm along the north shore so the water inside the cove ends up being very smooth. Mahalo for visiting.

So the last picture is out of focus, but I still really liked it. When it's almost
pitch black outside then it's really hard to focus letters on a sign! It is lit in the
picture because the exposure is set for 25 seconds, but in reality I was not able
to read the letters on the sign since it was so dark. It shows up in the picture due
to a street light that is 70 yards behind the camera; the same light makes the sand
below the sign appear with a reddish glow.
